The following are some of the areas in which Maskon has specialist expertise:

Peripheral equipment for the plastics industry. We have worked on parts for electric toothbrushes, mobile phones and office chairs, as well as pots, cups, spoons, plastic pieces/nails and a number of other products in the fields of technical plastics and packaging for the food industry. Automation in the food industry. Over recent years we have fullfilled a number of large and small projects for clients including TINE, Nortura and Nidar. They include specially designed machines for handling cheeses, lid application systems, labelling as well as auxiliary equipment for lifting/handling operations, stirring, wrapping in bags, etc.

• Cardboard packaging. When the standard machines offered by the big manufacturers are no longer up to the task, Maskon can provide specially adapted systems for inverting, taping, sealing and loading into boxes.
• Weighing and dosing. Through a number of major projects related to micro-dosing additives to concentrated feed, we have built up expertise in rapidly weighing hard-to-handle solid products.
• Automation in the mechanical engineering industry. We have supplied several robotic handling systems, automatic finishing and vision control systems.
• Labelling. Several projects have supplied fully automatic equipment that handles products using robots, from labelling through stacking to packaging.
