Automation in the food industry

The food processing industry is an important customer group for Maskon, and currently accounts for approximately fifty per cent of the turnover. As part of the LT Group - we have a broad technological environment to build on. In recent years we have completed several large and small projects, with companies like TINE, Nortura and Nidar. Deliveries include machines for mounting spoons on cups, machines for cover assembly, label application, supplementary equipment for handling, and equipment for cheese production, etc. Two "standard products" are designed for this industry;

Many opportunities for increased automation
The Norwegian food processing industry still has many opportunities, to automate production. This is an industry that has a complicated internal flow of goods, many tasks are still manual, and the demands of predictability and security are great. At the same time it becomes increasingly difficult to find employees, who are willing to work on heavy and routine tasks. –There is going to be exciting things happening in the coming years, in terms of automation in the food processing industry!
